March 28 REST DAY #1

Finally a day of no cycling. So nice to enjoy island life – relax, catch up on other life, read, sightsee, eat. Visited the very popular Lighthouse Bakery, West End Beach where you can enjoy a sandy walk a very short distance between the Gulf of Mexico and Mobile Bay, & Alabama Aquarium. Cooked in both nights.

A little recon on the bridge ride tomorrow as the red flag warning is to continue through tomorrow! I think Jody will drive us over the Dauphin Island Bridge which is directly into the 25+mph headwind.
